Trafiltubi is equipped with internal certified Laboratory qualified for the execution of all the non-destructive tests and more non-destructive ones; our Lab performs all tests as required by standards as well as any additional tests required by customers.
All our lab equipments are certified "SIT" to perform mechanical tests (tensile, hardness , enlargement, crush), metallographic analysis (decarbonization, dimensional control, and grain size, intergranular corrosion), non-destructive testing (Eddy current, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, hydrostatic test); dimensional checks and surface roughness, chemical analysis.
Our Laboratory, for each contract of pipes produced, stores for at least one year the samples that have undergone mechanical testing, and also an intact sample (to additional future surveys).
