EVERY TUBE DRAWN AT TRAFILTUBI IS A HIGH-PRECISION TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCT<\/h3>

TRAFILTUBI has historically specialised in responding flexibly to the most demanding requirements, providing its customers with valuable technological components at the service of the most sophisticated needs. The special tubes produced by TRAFILTUBI are defined by four main aspects, which are declined according to many variations: 1. the materials 2. the shapes 3. the thicknesses 4. the heat treatments. We produce special cold-drawn tubes from seamless or welded blanks, with lengths over 16 metres and diameters from 4 to 114 mm, with thicknesses varying from 0.4 to 14 mm, variously shaped, with differentiated thicknesses, ultra-light and very high resistance, in<\/p>

– stainless steels<\/p>

– special alloy steels<\/p>

– resulphurised steels<\/p>

– carbon steels<\/p>

Our special tubes can be customised in terms of shaping, thickness and profile:<\/p>

– round, or square, hexagonal, triangular or in a variety of special shapes<\/p>

– of uniform thickness or differently shimmed<\/a><\/p>

– with special mechanical or dimensional characteristics on request<\/p>

Tubes with metric or ANSI\/ASME dimensions<\/p>

We supply what our customers require, even according to the most varied customisations<\/strong><\/b>. We also carry out feasibility studies<\/strong><\/b> and offer a constant technical assistance service to develop new solutions<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>

Range of steels<\/strong><\/p>

In the range of carbon and alloy steels<\/a> we handle almost all special steels, including the most particular ones; among our more traditional steels we have the greatest experience in 15CDV6 (1.7734 \/ SCV)<\/a> and 25CRMo4<\/a> grades; but also 4130<\/a>, BS4 T45<\/a> and many others.<\/p>

In the stainless steel<\/a> range we handle all austenitic, common and special steels, including duplex and superduplex; also our exclusive Hinoxtube\u00ae<\/a>.<\/p>

Special Shapes<\/strong><\/p>

We supply tubes in the most varied shapes<\/a>, for which we build ad hoc equipment, or which can be chosen, in rapid production, from the many shapes we already have available. We also execute all special shapes requested by the customer.<\/p>

Multiple thicknesses and reinforced tubes<\/strong><\/p>

We are able to produce differently shimmed<\/a> tubes, i.e. with different thicknesses even along the same tube, to guarantee maximum lightness and absolute strength and reliability when welding.<\/p>

Customised mechanical properties through different heat treatments<\/strong><\/p>

Particular experience and process quality is recognised at TRAFILTUBI in fine-tuning its products through dedicated heat treatments in our 2 furnaces operating in a controlled atmosphere; namely Annealing, Normalising, Tempering, Stress Relieving.<\/p>

TRAFILTUBI GUARANTEES AND CERTIFICATIONS<\/h3>

Trafiltubi’s organisation<\/a> is set up according to the objectives of the highest transparency and traceability.<\/p>

The Trafiltubi quality control system (compliant with EN ISO 9002 since 1994) has been certified since 1997 by DET NORSKE VERITAS.<\/a><\/p>

We are also PED certified, AD200-W0; currently (2016) in the process of ISO 9100 certification.<\/p>

Finally, we are qualified as an authorised supplier to leading companies subject to the strictest component testing standards: in the fields of energy (including oil and nuclear plants), aeronautics and automotive.<\/p>

In turn, Trafiltubi tests and qualifies its suppliers according to the strictest quality system procedures.<\/p>

For each supply, the in-house laboratory<\/a> performs the test certification according to UNI EN 10204 – 3.1.<\/p>

On request, we also provide 3.2 certification.<\/p>

In addition to analyses according to the standards, for special productions we define with the customer the further controls and tests to be performed and certified.<\/p>

TECHNICAL AND PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE FOR THE RESTORATION OF PERIOD LOOMS<\/h3>

Trafiltubi offers the most qualified assistance in the recovery and restoration of vintage frames in general.
